Sundara Kaanda

This is a very very short version of the Sundara Kaanda. This was recited by my Great Grand Mother, and is treasured till date. The Author of this beautiful short Sundara Kaanda is unknown. The Sloka is in Kannada.

Please pardon me for any mistake. Pls post a comment if you think anything has to be changed.

Here's the translation of the above composed by me.

In the Seventh Adhyaaya,
Shri Hanuman, who is Shri Vaayu's Son,
Prays Shri Rama,
Wishes to Cross the Ocean,
Flies from Mount Mahendra,
Steps in Mynaaka,
Slaps Surasa Devi,
Kills Simhika,
Goes to Lanka's most beautiful
Thrikoota Mountains,
Goes to the Ashoka Vana where, under the Tree
Sees Sita Devi, hands over
Shri Raama's Ring, then
Takes Sita Devi's Soodamani
Worship's Sita by going round the Tree
Destroys Ashoka Vana, and
Kinkaras, 7 sons of the Ministers,
5 Warriors,
All Raakshasaas,
Kills Akshakumaara, then,
Falls unconcious for Indrajith's Brahmaastra,
Tries to Peace talk with Ravana,
With the fire in his Tail,
Fire's Lanka,
Again crosses the ocean,
Enjoys the fruits in the orchard, then,
Hands over the Soodamani to Shri Rama, and
Bows before him, then
He is hugged by Shri Rama.
This is the end of Sundar Kaandam.

This is a very well-written blog. But i would like the author to make a small correction here...please do note that it is "Sundar Kaandam"..and not Sundar Gaandam as spelled out by the author.WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE CHANGE IMPLEMENTED.
Regards
